We know how important it is to find games that connect with kids. Drawing on their interests gets them motivated to participate and build confidence.

Many kids adore magic: from witches & wizards to mystical faraway lands, from fairies to magical princesses. Generations of kids have longed to go on magical adventures. 

And we’re making it happen!

Magic Tag is a fully interactive adventure with “magic” wands. Each player gets an e-Wand to play with. Swing the wand to cast a spell. Players can cast spells on targets or try to dispel the magic on their opponent’s wands. 

This game builds friendships as kids play on a team together. Players get a feeling of success and joy when their efforts lead to victory. 

After running several playtests and ironing out the hardware, we’re now looking into industrial designs of the wand itself. We’re building a wand that not only looks great but feels awesome and is easy to use. The wands will be super lightweight, perfect for preps and older.

How Do the Games Work?

Every player gets a wand, making them a wizard! (or a witch, if they prefer). When they swing the wand, it will light up and cast a spell with sound effects.

This sends an invisible (and eye-safe) beam towards their target. If they get the target, their wand will light up and make a different sound effect. 

Jinx!

Everyone has 5 Magical Shields that let them cast spells.

When someone tags their wand, they lose a Shield. When a wizard is out of Shields, they are Spellbound and cannot cast spells anymore!

That is, until they return to their team’s Magic Chest. Swing their wand over the top of the chest, and they restore all 5 Magic Shields – and can keep playing!

It’s Red Team vs Blue Team.

This encourages kids to work together. Teamwork builds confidence and communication skills. 

How do the Magic Tag Rentals Work?

You can hire Magic Tag for your holiday program once we’re ready to launch. You can either hire a pack of 12 or 24 wands.

That means 12 or 24 kids can play at once. As a Vacation Care, you can rotate through different groups of kids throughout the day so everyone gets a go!

We pack everything into a box (or boxes) and deliver the Magic Tag straight to your campus.

Then, the next business after your event, we come around to collect the boxes.
