Where Can Laser Tag Be Played?

Laser tag is a high-tech game of hide-and-seek. Everyone is at once the searchers and the ones trying to hide!

Laser Tag can be played just about anywhere. You can go outside on a sports field. You play inside a school hall. Anywhere!

The key feature? Places to hide. 

You want at least 1 hiding spot per player. Best practice is to have 2 hiding spots per player. The more hiding spaces set closely together, the safer the activity.

Here are some ideas on where you can play laser tag!

Around Trees

Many laser tag games are played around trees. Lots of places have a small stretch of trees nearby that are perfect for laser tag. These are perfect before

1) they're already there!

2) there's plenty of them,

3) kids get the adventure experience outdoors.

Pop Up Maze: Inflatables

Another option is to hire inflatable shapes. These are big enough for a kid to crouch behind them. These act as great hiding spots because they can be set up outside or inside.

These work well on a grassy space. Or you can blow them up and spread them around a sports hall. 

Note: These are not jumping castles! Kids do not stand on them or jump atop them.

Pop Up Maze: DIY

Instead of inflatables, you can make an activity of building a laser tag field in your sports hall. There are plenty of options for a pop-up maze. You might have...

1) a row of chairs 

2) cardboard boxes all painted up (a great activity to do with the kids!)

3) soft play blocks (if they're big enough to duck behind, they're perfect for laser tag!)
